Raising funds for schools

I am attending a fund raising day at Greave junior school in Stockport on Saturday.  Will be providing massage taster sessions for £5.

Attended a pamper evening at Hurstead school in Stockport last Friday evening.  Very successful evening.  Thank you to everyone who tried a massage taster session.  Money was donated to 'Millies Trust'.  The school want to provide first aid training for parents.  Good luck with all of this

Deep Tissue Training

O my goodness, attended an amazing training on Monday 11th June at Infinity Training Academy.  (www.infinitytrainingacademy.co.uk) Have completed 'Advanced and deep Tissue Massage'.  Very good training and learnt some excellent techniques for help relieving tension knots and tired, achy muscles.  Will be great to add the techniques to massage treatments and will help to tailor treatments better, to clients needs.

Training

Really excited to be attending Rekei and Attunment 1 training tomorrow.  Will keep you posted

Update

Update
I have been quite busy since my last blog, but I think the main things to update you all about is Beechwood Cancer Care Centre.  If you have been following my blog you will be aware of the fact that I have been working in a voluntary capacity on a Monday morning since February.  Recently I was asked if I would like to join another therapist in offering their Friday service to patients, carer's, family members.  Of course I said 'yes' and have now started the 'Friday clinic'.

Rekei Attunment 1 & 2

I have for approximately 3 months now been working in a volunatry capacity at Beechwood Cancer Care Centre.  The Centre is an amazing place offering help, support and a safe place to people suffering from cancer, their carers or family members.  I have met some really lovely people both to work with and people requiring treatments.  From the end of May I have been invited to help run a Friday clinic, providing more treatments to more people.  The centre has also offered to help me train for my Rekei Attunment 1 & 2, which I am absolutely so excited about. I will be attending the first training session on 8th June.  Can't wait.  It would be really nice to hear from any Rekei Practitioners, maybe you can advise me on any reading material and/or websites to visit etc
